Our mission at S.O.L.A.C.E. is to welcome families with disabilities into our parish family and community. We seek to support them to become vital members of the body of Christ. Special outreach, love, and Catholic encouragement.
September 15, 2024 we had our first welcome back dinner and Mass with SOLACE volunteers and families. June 8, 2024 was our second respite day. We had 18 participants and 10 volunteers.
March 23, 2024 was our very first Respite day. We served 12 families with a total of 33 children.
How can I help?
If you would like to help with this new ministry we are looking for volunteers, OT, PT, SLPs, and ASL interpreters.
Please email Ashley Benson at [email protected].
You can also help with this ministry through prayers for God’s will to be done and to bless this ministry.
You can also donate money to the church and label it SOLACE through cash, check, or Venmo. You must designate it for SOLACE.
