If you have not heard of or gone to the March for Life before, then here is my TED talk.
In January 1973, the legal system in the United States legalized the right to end the life of a child within the mother's womb. The March for Life has been a movement that opposes that action. We as Catholics believe that Life starts at conception and ends at natural death, and a human has no right to take that life.
Our pilgrimage starts January 19 after school has let out, where we will set out for Washington DC with other youth groups from the archdiocese. Once we arrive, we will join with our fellow youth groups and march for Life. The Archdiocese of Mobile will march in a unified group so your student will be surrounded by chaperones and other students on the same trip that they are on. After the March is concluded, we will head home. The trip is focused around the sanctity of life and should help your student grow a deeper respect and dignigty of their bodies and those around us.
