The Knights of Columbus Faith in Action Program is an opportunity to put your faith into action and step into the breach. Stepping into the breach requires Knights to identify the needs around them and respond with action.
The Auburn University Knights of Columbus Council has identified Hosana Home as a necessary community initiative. Hosanna Home is a Christian based home established to give a place of restoration to women who are suffering from life controlling issues. https://www.harvestevangelism.org/hosanna-home
Knights of Columbus Auburn University Council #8696 recently completed a chicken coop as part of their Faith in Action community program. The project was directed by Brother Neill Briggs and funded by a benefactor acquired by Brother Sam Maloney. A dozen Knights met Nov. 21st, Dec. 5th and Dec. 19th behind St. Michael the Archangel Church in Auburn, AL to build the coop, which will house 4-5 chickens. The coop was delivered to the Hosanna Home in Lafayette, AL on December 23rd where it will be used to provide eggs and hobby-work for the residents.
