January 28/29 is Catholic Charities Appeal Sunday! In every parish across the archdiocese, each parishioner is asked to prayerfully consider making a pledge to the 2023 Catholic Charities Appeal.

Catholic Charities funds more than 30 ministries that help thousands of people in need in central and south Alabama, including:

• the recently established Catholic Social Services in Opelika
• AU Catholic Campus Ministry
• the archdiocesan Office of Youth Ministry, which puts on ACYC, a conference our CYO teens attend each year.

The basic Pledge is $53 a month or $636 for the year. We ask that everyone complete and return a pledge card and give what you can afford. If you prefer to donate online, you can text “CCA” to 91999 for a link.

In the spirit of charity, we ask that you prayerfully consider a pledge to this year’s Catholic Charities Appeal. Please, help our parish obtain 100% participation. The goal of the overall campaign tops $4 million.
