Confirmation

Is the final sacrament of initiation beginning in the 9th grade.  Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, these classes will meet in conjunction with Senior CYO on Sunday and Wednesday nights.  Specific sacramental preparation classes will be offered separately for those preparing to be confirmed beginning in January, 2012.  Requirements for Confirmation will include, but are not limited to; class attendance, service hours, Confirmation retreat and attendance at Sunday Mass and other Holy Days of Obligation.  Additional questions regarding those eligible to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation, the role and responsibility of parents/guardians and sponsors and the overall catechetical program should be directed to the PCL or pastor.
